LONDON (AFP) - Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo to join with Spain to help his country out of the debt crisis. Also: England immediately implement tax fresh air. This story was written two papers in the April Fool's edition.
According to the Independent newspaper, Real Madrid player Ronaldo has agreed to become a hero and move to the Spanish national team with a ransom worth 160 million euros, or about Rp 1.9 trillion.
The paper started the news with a statement that the finance minister of Portugal has agreed to sell Ronaldo's actions.
Mirror newspaper reporter named Flora Olip (anagram of April Fool), revealed that the British government is preparing legislation authorizing the withdrawal of tax on fresh air.
According to reporter Olip, a system of "Full Rates Air" will collect taxes from the valve areas fresher. City of London and Manchester sorts, a dirty valve, lower taxed.
The article quoted an official as saying, "The air comes from nature, but like water, he is a limited resource that must be set."
